Why We’re Here.

Welcome to the word on the street.

Well, actually it’s more the word in the cubicles, the conference rooms, the breakout spaces, the executive suites and the classrooms. People want more. More warm natural light. More creativity in fixtures, materials and finishes. All matched by more and better luminescent performance.

Above all, they want more respect for the rights of each and every eyeball in the building. Especially the ones that have to work there day and night to keep groceries on the table, the kids in braces and still have enough money to squeeze in a trip to the bowling alley, the links or, okay, the South of France, take your pick.

We think lighting should work in service of people and not vice versa. We believe conversation, dialogue and spirited debate will elevate our industry as a whole. Ergo, this Lighting for People website. And, double ergo, the blog on this site where we invite you to share your ideas, viewpoints and insights. Together, we may just spark a lighting revolution.
